Volunteer opportunities
We offer a 24-hour basic hospice volunteer training twice a year in spring and fall. Click here for upcoming training info. This core training is required for those who wish to work directly with people who are dying and/or bereaved:- One-on-one visiting
- Hospice/hospital visitor (may visit several people on one shift)
- Bereavement Walk volunteer
- Children’s grief support volunteer
- Healing touch volunteer
- Bereavement phone team
There is a fee of $75 for this training. Volunteers will require a criminal record check.
